Jonas Ekblom, Ph.D. Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Jonas Ekblom has over 20 years of experience from the life science sector, with a focus in pharmacology and drug development. He has managed R&D programs in multiple fields of medical technology in several therapeutic areas. Most recently, Jonas Ekblom has served as Chief Executive Officer of Bows Pharmaceuticals AG, a Swiss drug delivery company. Prior to that, he has held senior management positions in Pharmacia, Biovitrum, Sequenom and Invitrogen. Jonas has a strong track record in strategic R&D management, portfolio evaluation and licensing of programs in stages from pre-clinical to Phase 2 clinical trials. Jonas Ekblom has founded several start-up companies including Snakemind and Anaborex Inc. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and holds a position as an Associate Professor in Pharmacology at Uppsala University, Sweden. Jonas also serves on the board of directors of The Releef Initiative, which is an international humanitarian non-profit organization. |

Ulrika Wennberg has over 15 years of business experience as an entrepreneur, project manager, management consultant, controller and business leader. She has broad experience from several different industries, e.g. consulting, IT, media and biotech. Her previous position was as CFO and subsequently CEO at Jederstrom Pharmaceuticals AB. Ulrika holds a Master's degree in Management. |

Corrado Sablone Chief Financial Officer
Corrado Sablone has over 15 years of finance experience within controlling and accounting. Latest held position was as Commercial Controlling manager for Coca-Cola Enterprises Sverige AB. In this position he was responsible for managing the commercial controlling team in all commercial matters including revenue growth management and price negotiations. Other positions held include Accounting Manager at Tetra Pak Sverige, various controlling positions within Tetra Pak and Corporate Controller for the Tradimus Group (Aditro). Corrado holds a Master's degree in Business Administration. |

Jan Alenfall, Ph.D. Managing Director DPK-060 Program
Dr. Jan Alenfall has over 18 years of pharmaceutical R&D experience in various positions. He joined Pharmacia Leo after his Master's degree in 1988. Jan was involved in research for new concepts for treatments of immunological disorders and cancer. Since then, Jan has held various management positions in Ferring and subsequently in Bioglan where he undertook the global responsibility for preclinical and clinical development. Under a period he was also responsible for the regulatory department (Nordic countries). He has deep experience in in research, product development, preclinical and clinical trials as well as commercial partnerships. Jan Alenfall joined DermaGen AB as Managing Director in 2006. Jan has authored and co-authored 17 papers in scientific journals and has 3 pending patent applications. |

Margit Mahlapuu, Ph.D. Managing Director PXL01 Program
Dr. Margit Mahlapuu has almost 10 years of experience in the biotech and pharma industry. She started her career as a Post Doctoral Fellow at AstraZeneca (2001-2002) after her doctorate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. Hereafter she was Project Leader Arexis, a Swedish drug discovery company (2002- 2005) and Project Manager R&D, at Biovitrum (2005-2007). In 2007 she joined PharmaSurgics as Chief Scientific Officer and is currently also Managing Director. Margit has authored and co-authored 19 papers in scientific journals and has 4 pending patent applications. Since 2008 she is Assistant Professor in Medicine at the Sahlgrenska Academy, Göteborg University. |

Jan Nilsson Chief Marketing Officer / Managing Director LL-37 Program
Jan Nilsson has broad experience from the Life Science sector - both from ”Big Pharma” as well as from biotech companies. Jan has been involved in many aspects of the pharmaceutical process, primarily in business development, clinical research, marketing and sales. Jan has held a number of senior positions in Schering-Plough in the Nordic area and was also involved in Task Forces dealing with critical issues for the company worldwide. As Vice President of the Nordic Region for Schering-Plough Jan built a team of robust professionals who were able to generate sustained top-line growth and to improve profitability with the product portfolio at hand. Jan has also served as CEO and board executive in several public biotech companies. In this capacity he has, among other things, acquired deep experience of clinical-stage programs in the field of drugs that enhance healing of wounds and traumatic injuries. |
