Programs

The current development pipeline includes three lead APIs. Pergamum has five main programs, four of which are in clinical development. All programs are based on therapeutic peptides derived from human motifs.

Pergamum Pipeline

Pergamum lead programs

  • DPK-060 to treat and prevent skin infections (atopic dermatitis), and to treat external otitis – clinical Phase II

Using our natural defense systems to create unique pharmaceuticals

In the Operating Unit in Lund (Sweden), Pergamum is developing therapies and formulations, based on novel antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) derived from human motifs for the treatment and prevention of bacterial and fungal infections. Focus indications include skin infections (atopic dermatitis) and external otitis.

  • PXL01 to prevent formation of post-surgical adhesions – clinical Phase II

First-in-class pharmaceutical for prevention of post-surgical adhesions

In the Operating Unit in Gothenburg (Sweden), Pergamum is developing pharmaceutical treatments for prevention of adhesions following surgery or injury, improved wound healing and reduced scar formation. The products are based on multifunctional peptides derived from the human protein lactoferrin. Initial indications are post-surgical adhesions following flexor tendon repair surgery, and following more broad orthopedic surgery procedures, as an extension indication.

  • LL-37 to promote wound healing in chronic leg ulcers – preclinical

Healing hard-to-heal wounds naturally

In the Operating Unit in Stockholm (Sweden), Pergamum is developing therapies based on groundbreaking research on the multifunctional antimicrobial peptide, LL-37, to promote healing of hard-to-heal-wounds. A novel product concept based on this human peptide has been developed, covered by international patents and patent applications. A clinical program has been designed for treatment of chronic leg ulcers.
